Who is behind YKIReady

YKIReady is built and run by Actually Finland, a sole proprietorship registered in Finland (Business ID 3203290-4) based in Tampere, and the same team behind actuallyfinland.com— a channel answering honest questions about studying, working and settling in Finland.

How the mocks are made

Each mock paper follows the official YKI structure: Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, in that order, each with its own clock and no pausing. Tasks are written to mirror the topics and task types that appear in past papers at basic, intermediate and advanced level, and answers are assessed against the same rubric dimensions used in the real exam — task completion, accuracy, range and coherence — then mapped to the Weak / Satisfactory / Good bands.

YKIReady is an independent practice service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus), and a mock result is not an official certificate or a guarantee of your real result.
