Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms govern your use of YKIReady (the "Service"), operated by Actually Finland, a sole proprietorship registered in Finland (Business ID: 3203290-4), which also operates actuallyfinland.com. By creating an account or sitting a mock exam you agree to these Terms.

2. What YKIReady is — and is not

YKIReady provides independent practice mock exams modelled on the format and timing of the Finnish National Certificate of Language Proficiency (YKI). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Finnish National Agency for Education or the official YKI examination, and our results are not an official certificate or any guarantee of your result in the real test.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
You may sign up with email, Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe.
One free mock is included per account; multiple accounts to farm free mocks are not permitted.
We may suspend accounts that break these Terms, attempt to redistribute exam content, or abuse the Service.

4. Credits, prices and payment

Mock credits and single-section credits are bought as one-off purchases at the prices shown on the pricing page, in euros, VAT included where applicable.
Starting a full mock consumes one mock credit; a single section consumes one section credit.
Credits expire 6 months after purchase and have no cash value outside the Service.
Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store card details.

5. Refunds and right of withdrawal

Digital content is delivered immediately. By purchasing you agree that delivery begins at once and, once a credit has been used, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies to that credit. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days on request. If a refund or chargeback is processed, the corresponding credits are removed from your balance. 6. Exam rules and technical conditions

Mock exams are strictly timed and cannot be paused, mirroring the real test. Interruptions caused by your device, browser, microphone or internet connection do not entitle you to a replacement credit automatically, though we will restore a credit where a clear fault on our side prevented an attempt from being completed.

7. Acceptable use

Do not copy, record, scrape, resell or republish exam content, audio or reports.
Do not attempt to bypass timers, credits, payment or authentication.
Do not submit unlawful, hateful, or abusive content in written or spoken answers.
Do not use automated systems to access the Service at scale.

8. Intellectual property

All exam materials, audio, scoring rubrics, text and design remain the property of Actually Finland. You keep ownership of your own answers; you grant us the limited right to store and process them in order to produce your results and reports.

9. Advertising

The Service may display third-party advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are never shown during a live, timed exam section. Advertisers are independent of us and we are not responsible for their offerings. See the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for exam outcomes, immigration, employment or study decisions made on the basis of mock results. Nothing here limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under Finnish law.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. Unused credits are forfeited on voluntary deletion.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes are heard by the District Court of Pirkanmaa; consumers may also use the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or the EU ODR platform.
